Greater DC Cares will mobilize over 6,000 volunteers to impact critical issues across the region while remembering the lives touched by the tragedy of September 11. Brighten the morning of a veteran as you learn about his/her life
Landscape at schools and parks in DC and MD
Restore a national park or historic cemetery
Paint a mural to beautify a school or recreation center
Create safer sex kits to fight HIV/AIDS in DC 
Create environmentally-friendly, safe walking paths
