Children are playing on new playgrounds, walking down brighter hallways, and looking at planted flowers at their schools. Area youth are being wowed by beautiful murals freshly painted teen rooms and newly built park benches at recreation centers. Community residents are enjoying balanced and meals from area food banks while senior citizens are remembering the volunteers who spent their Saturday playing board games and talking with them.
You rolled up your sleeves, you gave of your time, and you left a lasting impact on your fellow community members who desperately need it.
